Purchasing, converting and implementing software requires a great deal of resources. We are very aware of that and before even making a decision to purchase new software we ask the following questions:
- What specific problems will the software solve?
- What is the quantification of those problems over 1 month, 1 year and 3 years?
- Have you dug deeply into those “problem processes” and worked to streamline the process with your current technology while identifying clearly what the new technology will truly do?
- When analyzing all the opportunities for the contractor to invest talent and capital resources does software truly have the best return at this time?
Decide to purchase new software only when you are absolutely clear on what problems it will solve and that it is the best use of your resources.
