Dexter+Chaney makes a construction accounting package called Spectrum geared towards the growing specialty contractor.  This software operates on a standard SQL platform, has fantastic functionality including document imaging, has great functions for data integration and even has a Project Management module geared towards specialty contractors.

If your company operates on Spectrum currently or if you are planning to upgrade we offer our Project Management training customized for your company, your processes and totally integrated with Spectrum. 

Analyze, Streamline & Document Your Processes

With the standard Project Management training we analyze and document your processes. With the Spectrum specific Project Management training we do the analysis and then work with you to integrate your processes with Spectrum.

This process will produce a series of flow-charts similar to the one shown below which will be used as the basis for report creation and the more detailed operations manual/training.

Modify Existing Spectrum Reports/Forms

The reports/forms that come with the Spectrum Project Management module are generic. We will work with you to modify the basic Transmittal, RFI, Speed Memo and Change Request cover letter to more closely match your exiting company standards.

We can also work with you to modify the reports to meet the needs of specific projects or customers if required.

Create Custom Reports Based On Your Structure

There will be some summary management reports that need to be created and customized for your organization. This will be based on what modules you have, what your management reporting structure looks like, who on the project team is responsible for what, etc.

Our goal is to provide you with a suite of tools that you can use to completely manage your projects maximizing Forefront's capabilities.

If you have Document Imaging the custom reports can have phenomenal capabilities creating action item list per project with direct links to the critical documents.

Improved Communications With Custom Reports

With the custom reports built in Excel you can easily send action items to other project team members directly through the e-mail system and even have the links to the original documents.

Operations Manual - Custom For Your Company

After the processes are documented and the necessary information reporting structure is built we will turn that information into a Project Management Operations manual specific to your company.

General Training For Project Team

To augment the Project Management Operations manual we produce a series of training presentations and train your entire Project Team, not only on the basics of Project Management but also on Project Management using Spectrum and the custom tools we developed for your company.
