STAGE 4:  PROJECT MANAGEMENT

RCCA Program Stage: 1    2    3    4    5    ( Previous    Next )

Building additional floors is very simple - get work, do work.  The project management process involves every aspect of building a project from the point of turnover from the estimate, the contract review process, scheduling, purchasing, job start-up, production tracking, project cash-flow, change orders and project close-out.

The process of building projects make up 80-90% of the work a company does.  In a manufacturing facility productivity and quality can be measured in a controlled environment.  In the construction environment these things are a lot more difficult which leaves a wide range between the best companies and average companies.

The RCCA will evaluate your company against some of the best industry practices and will be used as a guideline for areas of improvement.  Your talent and financial systems will need to be tailored in every way to support the management of your projects.  These recommendations will be included in your RCCA summary.
