The Profit Happens Here! Series of training classes is the result of codifying the experiences of our senior consultants into modules that can help our clients grow, change and train their teams more effectively.
Our current class schedule includes the following:

  • How Project Teams Can Improve Cash Flow: This short two hour session focuses on explaining what cash flow is, why it is critical for a company and key action items that can be put into practice immediately to improve cash flow. The class is geared towards anyone on the project team including purchasing, contract administrators, project managers, project engineers, accounts receivable, etc. Learn more – click here
  • Mastering the Work-In-Progress Schedule: This four hour “Lunch n’ Learn” session focuses on explaining what the work-in-progress (WIP) schedule is and how it can be used to drive operational performance. It is geared toward financial managers as well as operations managers. The class will help everyone understand not only the basics of the WIP but also understanding the cause and effect of changes.   • Integrating Accounting and Operations: This intense one day workshop is geared for senior managers and owners of medium to large contracting businesses. It is facilitated by two people – one with an operations background and the other with a finance background. The facilitation and peer group interaction is geared to help executives and owners generate ideas and a plan for improving performance by helping both accounting and operations work together more effectively.   • Project Productivity: This one day workshop is geared towards project managers, superintendents and foremen. It focuses on four of the “Profit Happens Here!” modules including Project Pre-Planning, Impacted Productivity, Staying On-Track and Production Tracking. Learn more – click here

Habitat for Humanity Logo

A percentage of profits from the classes will be donated to Habitat for Humanity. With the purchase of one training class, the company will contribute 10 percent to the nonprofit organization that is dedicated to making decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
